YK Pao School is an international Chinese school, founded in memory of the renowned Hong Kong shipping magnate and philanthropist Sir Yue-Kong Pao. With over 1200 students, the school offers a unique Year 1-12 programme bringing together and integrating Chinese and international students, teachers, and curricula. The Secondary school offers a British-style boarding programme with a rich co-curricular programme including sports, the arts, and community service. The school's China Discovery Programme gives Year 9-12 students the opportunity for short-term enrolment at Pao School. Student study a combination of specialised courses in Chinese language, history and culture, along with a core academic programme in English. They live in the school's dormitories and share rooms with local Chinese classmates.
