The Sejong Center opened in Moscow within the precincts of the Won Gwan School on October 29, 2008 on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Korea (National Institute of State Language under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism). Its goal is to teach Russians the Korean language and familiarize them with Korean culture as part of a program to popularize Korean in the world.
