Fairleigh Dickinson University-Vancouver is a private non-for-profit organization. Our university holds diplomatic relations with the United Nations (UN), where our students have the option of participating in UN conferences and being able to meet UN Ambassadors. In addition to the UN relations, FDU-V has excellent relations with the Canadian Government, where our students have access to 2 work permits. In detail, our students will be able to apply for an Off-Campus Work Permit 7 months after joining the university. This Off-Campus Work Permit will enable the student to study and work at the same time (if desired). Upon graduation, the student will be able to apply for a Post-Graduate Work Permit that will enable the student to live and work in Canada for 3 years. Additionally, due to our commitment to education, and being a non-for-profit organization, Fairleigh Dickinson University-Vancouver has a generous Scholarship Program for International Students.
