ALGONQUIN's LOCATION: Ottawa is a draw for many students. Although it is not one of Canadaâs best-known cities, it is the national capital and offers considerable advantages for studentsâ experiences: the quality of life is incomparable to other cities, particularly in terms of cost of living, ease of transportation, availability of part-time jobs, and being able to live in a comfortable home within walking distance of the most important local locations. ALGONQUIN's EXPERTISE: Applied education has been a focus at Algonquin College for many years, and is picking up around the world too. Students acquire specialized and practical skills for well-paying jobs through these programs.
