The English Language Academy which is fully licensed by the Malta Department of Education and is one of the founder members of FELTOM (Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations, Malta). Our school has been established since 1988. We are the LSI partner school in Malta www.lsi.edu). We are also the official representatives of the University of Malta and the first and currently the only centre for the popular TOEFL iBT test. There is a 'family' atmosphere in our school and groups are small and international. All our teachers are experienced and fully qualified. Over the years the number of students wishing to attend our school has increased considerably. In spite of this expansion, we are still considered a ‘small’ school in today’s market. This enables us to maintain our reputation as a school that gives that special personal service. Our premises are located in the heart of Sliema, the centre of all activities, close to the beach, restaurants, shops etc. All types of accommodation are offered We can arrange transfers from the airport to accommodation with return for a very reasonable fee. Clients are met and assisted by one of our reps who are fluent in most languages. The school also offers free internet facilities and is fully air-conditioned. We are open all year round from Monday to Friday. We offer a large variety of courses ranging from group courses, known as Everyday English and Business English to more specialised individual courses such as Personalised General English and Personalised Special English. We offer six levels within the courses. Upon arrival, students are asked to complete an assessment test to determine their level. All students are given personal and individual attention, and our offices are open all day to offer assistance to them. A complete activities programme is also offered. We offer a large selection of courses for students of all ages: children from four years old, teenagers and adults/seniors. Booking a course for three weeks or more will entitle you to a long term discount, whilst booking a General English or Business English group course during low season (October to March) will entitle you to a further reduction of 20%. Please contact us for more details. Accommodation is offered with a family or in school residence, apartment or hotel in the vicinity of the school. If you let us know your exact dates of arrival and departure and the kind of accommodation you prefer, we will check on availability and inform you of prices. In order to confirm the course and reserve the accommodation we will require a deposit of fifty percent. It is possible to pay with your credit card. We will require your credit card number and expiry date in order to effect deposit. It is also possible to pay deposit via bank transfer. In this case we will require a copy of the bank remittance slip in order to trace the deposit. The balance is to be paid upon arrival at the school prior to the first lesson.
