The Georgia Tech Language Institute is located on the campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology, one of the top ten public universities in the U.S. Since its founding in 1958, the Language Institute has provided English language training for thousands of international students and professionals from more than 100 countries. The intensive English program at Georgia Tech offers seven levels of instruction, from beginning to advanced in five eight-week sessions a year. Students in the intensive program take four core courses daily and have the option of signing up for additional hours of test preparation courses, including TOEFL, GRE/GMAT, and SAT. The Language Institute also offers short courses in January, May, and July of each year where students can study on a short-term basis in a 3-week program.
