About the College of Extended Learning: The College of Extended Learning helps learners of all ages and backgrounds achieve their continuing education goals by providing access to University degrees, certificate programs, professional development and personal enrichment programs. Classes are offered at the San Bernardino campus and online. About CSUSB: A young, vibrant university, California State University, San Bernardino is one of the fastest growing universities in California, largely because of its expanding service area of San Bernardino and Riverside counties, which covers 27,000 square miles â a territory larger than 10 states in the nation. More than 65,000 students have graduated from CSUSB, including many who work in Southern California and make a major positive impact on the economy. Founded in 1965, CSUSB currently enrolls more than 17,500 students and employs more than 2,100 faculty and staff.
