Many of our students say they decided upon Cork city as a study destination because they wanted somewhere different and break away from the norm of studying in and visiting bigger cities. The city has a population of 120,000 people and offers a safe, unique, charming and friendly welcome to all. We are city centre based and all of our teachers are native English speakers. Our school has 15 modern, light filled classrooms which can cater for individuals, small groups and large groups. We are committed to offering a superior service and our dedicated team are on hand to ensure that every aspect of your stay with us is taken care of. The people of Cork are very proud of their city and celebrate it by nurturing culture and the arts. The city is known for its homegrown music, film, theatre and thriving art scene. We provide excellent instruction in the English language in a friendly environment that gives our students the opportunity to use the language with native speakers and practice with each other while gaining a greater understanding of Irish life and culture. We offer adult courses in General English, Business English and Examination Preparation.We also offer Work Placement, Junior Short Stay and Family Package programmes. We have a diverse social activities programme which includes 2 free afternoon classes per week (pronunciation, culture, vocabulary etc) Irish pub nights, traditional Irish music and dance nights,book club, walking tours, half day tours and full day tours to discover other parts of Ireland like the Cliffs of Moher in Co. Clare and the Ring of Kerry Co. Kerry. We also offer carefully selected accommodation options in locations close to the Academy.
