Clayton State University is a public university in Atlanta, GA and is a selective Senior Unit of the University System of Georgia. The main campus includes 192 acres (0.78 km2) of peaceful wooded grounds, featuring five lakes and a park-like atmosphere. Located in the north-central part of Clayton County in suburban south metro Atlanta, the main campus is a fifteen-minute drive from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and about twenty minutes from downtown Atlanta. Clayton State University has four colleges, an Intensive English Program and a School of Graduate Studies. We have 5 Associateâs, 36 Bachelorâs and 8 Masterâs which also seek accreditations that speak to the high quality of our offerings. We were recently named by College Choice as one of the top ten among the 25 best colleges in Georgia for 2017 and #8 Public Regional Colleges in the South by U.S. News & World Report. Furthermore, our College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB); a distinction that only 5% of business colleges worldwide hold.
