The university was established in 1995. We educate in the following fields: IT , Management , Finance and Accounting . The university also runs postgraduate studies , courses and training according to the CISCO Academy and Microsoft AATP programs .

Permits, accreditations and certificates
The legal basis for the operation of the University is the entry in the Register of Non-State Universities No. 55 of May 11, 1995 and of March 19, 2004
In 2004, 2010 and 2015, the State Accreditation Committee issued a positive opinion for bachelor's and master's studies in the field of Management, Finance and Accounting , and in 2011 and 2017 for the IT field .
On January 22, 2015, PKA decided to positively evaluate the program of Management at the first and second cycle level of general academic studies, as well as Finance and Accounting at the first cycle level of general academic studies. It was found that all assessed qualitative criteria obtained a very good evaluation.
The university has its own rich teaching base, numerous and young academic staff. The financial position of the University is stable, thanks to which our students find the opportunity to pursue their passions and interests, and the lecturers have the conditions to conduct research. WSZiB has the highest categories in the parametric assessment of scientific activity. In education management, we follow the principles of TQM (quality management). We also have a QUALITY CERTIFICATE issued by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Krakow. For many years, we have been ranked at the top in the rankings of "Polityka", "Wprost", "Rzeczpospolita" and "Perspektywy".
Students take part in IT projects conducted by the University. WSZiB as an authorized Pearson VUE examination center enables obtaining international, prestigious certificates in the IT industry. The university also offers the opportunity to take the recognized FCE and TELC (The European Language Certificate) exams.
